Finance Committee
The Committee on Finance and Administration is responsible for the process of accepting contributions, overseeing expenditures, the policy for investments, and staff compensation as approved by the Consistory.  It responds to and evaluates the financial needs of the church as identified by the Consistory. Consistent with the duties of the Treasurer, it is custodian of all financial assets of the church. The Committee assures that adequate insurance protects the church from liability and the potential loss from fire or other hazards. Annually, the Committee prepares a financial budget which supports the mission of the church as requested by the various committees and responsible areas. In doing so, the Committee on Finance and Administration attempts to maintain financial stability. It will recommend to the Consistory avenues to assure financial feasibility as well as, from a financial perspective, evaluating opportunities to advance the mission of the church. All activities of this Committee are reviewed annually by an Audit Team which reports its findings directly to the Consistory.

Meeting time: 1st Thursday of the month.

Property Committee
The work of the Property Committee includes but isn’t limited to general maintenance, emergency repairs and remediation, retaining outside contractors when necessary, and heading-up new projects as assigned. We have 13 active members who donate their time, talents, and resources to maintain the church property as well as the pastor’s and associate pastor’s homes. We also run a work day each spring to freshen up the interior and exterior of the church. The Property Committee partners with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts to conduct fall cleanup.

Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee seeks to encourage Addisville’s brothers and sisters in Christ to utilize their God given gifts of time, talents and treasures to bring glory to God and spread the good news of God’s love and redemption in our community and world.  The Committee feels that by participating in a continual ongoing commitment to stewardship, a person’s spiritual growth is increased and deepened.

Meeting time: Meets as needed and schedules allow.

Worship Committee
The Worship Committee’s function is to find ways to enhance our worship services in order to lead the congregation in meaningful worship & praise to our Heavenly Father and to encourage the congregation into a deeper relationship with God & Jesus. We do this through special worship events, celebration of Holy Communion, scripture readings and music ministry. At our meetings we also focus on ways to encourage everyday worship outside of Church. One way we do this is by recognizing and reflecting on the Jesus moments we encounter in our lives.

Meeting time: 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm in Fellowship Hall (No meetings in July & Dec).
